Go Texan Day!

Dressin' up fancy, Trail Rides, Square Dancin', and the start of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo - Go Texan Day!  My family has always loved this day and ever since I was a kid, we have dressed up, watched and even ridden in trail rides and loved the rodeo!  So, here are some fun pics of my kids doing the same thing.

Playing in the Street - Yay for Warm Weather!

So, we are so thrilled to have warm weather again!  We spent the entire afternoon outside playing in the yard!

Below are some fun pics.  I intentionally set the camera to the nighttime setting and we got some super fun, long exposure pics.  The boys discovered that if you go by really fast on your go-kart, you turn into a ghost!

Jake gives Jill a (slow) ride on the go-kart.  I don't think a little girl could love her big brothers more.  Jake is so sweet to her.  And Josh is too.

Josh's 7th Birthday Party

This past weekend we had Josh's 7th Birthday Party with his classmates.  Let me tell you, that is one high energy group of boys!  WOW!  After 2 basketball games that morning, they played HARD non-stop for an hour and a half.  They didn't even want to stop for Pizza and Cake, I had to make them!

We had the party at Lifetime which was great because we didn't have to worry about weather issues and it was handled by someone else!  No mess for mommy to clean! 

So here are the pics of the party.  We played dodgeball, soccer (dangerous!) and kickball.  Then our special visitor came for the sit down part!  Very fun.

We had a fun afternoon with my family coming over for a Josh Birthday Party / Super Bowl Party!  We even took this pic because we totally knew the Pack would pull it out!  I can say that now!

Yes, Josh watched the whole thing and stayed up to watch the trophy ceremony.  Yes, I am sorry Ms. Ramey he will be tired and completely distracted tomorrow!
